Wales and Turkey predictions meet at the Baku Olympic Stadium in Azerbaijan in the big contest of Euro 2020 on matchday two in Group A.
The Dragons earned a 1-1 draw against Switzerland in their opening match, while Turkey were beaten 3-0 by hosts Italy.
Rob Page accepts that Wales were rather lucky to come out of their game against Switzerland on Saturday with a potentially vital point.
La Nati had twice as many shots as Wales and should have added to their lead after Breel Embolo opened the scoring early in the second half.
However, some fine saves from Danny Ward kept the Dragons in the game and Kieffer Moore justified his choice by heading an equalizer for Wales in the sweltering heat of Baku.
That leaves Wales in a decent position after the first set of matches in Group A, with a win against Turkey on Wednesday effective enough to seal a place in the last 16.
The defeat of the Turkish side will be very much supported in Azerbaijan, however, and all that will change.
The Crescent-Stars were endorsed as the dark horses of the tournament by many, but they fell short against Italy in the competition's opening game last Friday.
Having held on for the first half, Merih Demiral's own goal opened the floodgates as further strikes from Ciro Immobile and Lorenzo Insigne followed at the Stadio Olimpico.
It ended a six-game unbeaten run for Turkey, although Senol Gunes' men have not lost in a row since Mircea Lucescu took charge in November 2018.
Turkey also have an impressive record against Wales, the last defeat in this match was in 1981 when Gunes was in goal for the home team.
In fact, Page was also on the pitch when Wales last met Turkey some 24 years ago – a game that ended 6-4 for the Crescent-Stars to win.
A similarly high-scoring affair was not to be expected this time around, but both sides would be happy to accept a narrow one-goal win if offered to them ahead of this latest encounter.
Page's big selection call finally paid off against Switzerland, with Ward and Moore confirming their starting places.
The interim boss of Wales has also opted to return to a back four, as was used for the back three used in warm-up matches, and that is likely to be the case here anyway.
Harry Wilson is pushing for a recall in attack, with that selection call likely to depend on whether Aaron Ramsey can play twice in quick succession.
Ethan Ampadu and David Brooks, who came off the bench against Switzerland, are the other two pushing for a recall to the starting lineup on Wednesday.
As for Turkey, Gunes will surely be tempted to make some changes in the wake of the heavy loss to Italy, with his side providing very little attacking threat.
Cengiz Under, Irfan Can Kahveci and Kaan Ayhan are all vying for a return to the team, but Burak Yilmaz is expected to retain his place at the top.
Ozan Kabak was an unused substitute against Italy, although Caglar Soyuncu and Demiral look set to land center back once again.
